In this Leadership Lab, you'll explore a Belonging-Centered Leadership framework designed to help you examine the gap between your intent as a leader and the impact you actually have on those around you. Because power, relationships, and culture are always deeply interconnected in any organization, this framework offers practical tools and reflective space to lead with greater awareness, especially when instability tests trust and psychological safety. You'll leave with a fresh perspective, concrete strategies, and connections to peers navigating similar leadership challenges.

This month's Lab will be facilitated by Joel Pérez.

Dr. Joel Pérez is a dynamic executive and leadership coach, speaker, and consultant dedicated to empowering leaders and organizations to achieve their goals while fostering a culture of impact and inclusion through cultural humility. He is the founder of Apoyo Coaching and Consulting, LLC, and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Additionally, Joel is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Certified Facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method, and a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).

Joel is the author of Dear White Leader: How to Achieve Organizational Excellence through Cultural Humility and a proud graduate of Claremont Graduate University, where he earned his doctorate in higher education administration. He has been happily married for over 28 years and is a devoted father to four children.
